Do I actually need a watch winder?

Only for automatic watches you do not wear every day. With a date, day-date, moon phase or perpetual calendar, a winder saves you setting it again after every stop. For a time-only watch, it is a convenience.

Can a winder overwind my watch?

No. An automatic movement has a slipping bridle on its mainspring: once the spring is full, extra turns slip instead of adding tension.

Which capacity should I choose?

One slot for each automatic you rotate, plus one for the next arrival. Our 6 + 6 cases wind six watches and keep six more in a drawer.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1-2 business days of payment, then delivered in an estimated 6-8 business days. Shipping is free on every US order, with no minimum, to all 50 states, DC and APO/FPO addresses. Shipping policy.

Will I pay anything at the door?

No. Any duties or taxes, where applicable, are already included in the price, so there is nothing extra to pay on delivery.

How do I track my order?

You receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. If it has not updated for more than 5 business days, email us with your order number and we open a search with the carrier.

Can I change my shipping address?

Yes, if you email us within 2 hours of placing the order. Once the order is dispatched, the address can no longer be changed.

Can I return it?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery, unused and in its original packaging. Return shipping is paid by the customer, and approved refunds are processed within 10 business days of us receiving your return. Returns policy.

What if it arrives damaged?

Email support@winderhaus.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the issue. We send a free replacement or issue a full refund, return shipping included.
